The Viet Nam Children's Program (VNCP) is confident that the path to a better world begins with a first small step - the desire to help. Viet Nam is not the only place in the world that needs help, but VNCP knows its efforts in Viet Nam will work their way out, in a rippling effect, to all corners of the world. Viet Nam is a place of choice because of the special characteristics of its people, who value education and resourcefulness, create much from little, give selflessly, and see every step as a step closer to self-reliance.

The people of VNCP live all over the world - some in the United States; some originally from Viet Nam; some are veterans of the Viet Nam conflict and others are people who see the results that have been achieved and want to help. The VNCP accepts donations of money and help in the form of volunteers who travel to Viet Nam to teach and build.
